Mountaineers Foundation Strategic Planning

The Board of Trustees of the Mountaineers Foundation embarked on strategic planning in 2007, engaging an outside consultant to assist in facilitating the process.  During Summer 2007, we sought input from numerous community stakeholders, including donors, grantees, Mountaineers Club leaders, organizational partners and other funders.

This input was reviewed by the board and considered at a board retreat in October, 2007, where the mission and vision were revised and strategic priorities for the next three years were determined.  Following the retreat, board committees identified objectives and action steps to achieve our goals in each area, yielding the attached plan and supporting workplans.  The final plan was approved at a recent board meeting.

We are please to share th results of the planning process. Click here for a PDF downalodable copy of the plan.
